Stanley Security EyeLock: access control with biometric iris recognition at SICUR 2014

With a demonstration showroom in its exhibition space in the pavilion 10 of SICUR 2014 (stand B10), Stanley Security has introduced its EyeLock access control system, selected in the Gallery of new products of the contest, through biometric iris recognition.

Among the new solutions that Stanley Security presents in SICUR 2014, that ends the 28 February at IFEMA – Madrid Fair, highlights the EyeLock access control system, selected by the contest jury in the Gallery of new products, that through biometric recognition of the ocular iris allows staff access to certain areas of the facility.

EyeLock provides real-time identification, both on the move and at a distance, with a high level of precision due to its low error rate in checking and verifying user information, which eliminates any possibility of fraudulent access and becomes an ideal solution compared to traditional card authentication systems.

This access control eliminates complexity and minimizes security risk by replacing the registration of data on a card with the registration of data obtained from the iris, in addition to eliminating the use of access passwords associated with user names.

Other new Stanley Security solutions at SICUR 2014 is the ePAC Cylinder access control system, a simple solution that integrates a cylinder into the door lock, or the most complex iPac access management and control system.

The company is also presenting the EAS anti-theft system these days at the event., that through a combination of security arches with special labels that are fixed on the merchandise, allow the prevention of theft; the eVideo Cloud solution, to monitor the risk areas of the installation through image management hosted in 'the cloud', as well as the device for locating assets and personnel with WiFi technology AeroScout.
