NEC Display Solutions Europe has expanded the M Series with three new short throw projectors, Designed for interactive uses in classrooms and company meeting rooms
NEC M352WS projectors, M302WS and M332XS use wide-angle lenses and offer highly efficient and innovative eco-friendly features, with a sealed DLP light cannon and a long-lasting, low-consumption lamp.
These features make the new projectors maintenance-free and offer a very low cost of ownership without compromising quality and flexibility.. Besides, Including advanced multimedia capabilities and an interactive multi-pen make these short throw projectors the centerpiece of a modern learning environment.
The NEC M352WS and M302WS devices have a native resolution of 1280×800 and a shine of 3500 y 3000 ANSI lumens, respectively. The M332XS is designed for those looking for a format 4:3 with a native resolution of 1024×768 and a shine of 3300 ANSI lumens.
Besides, All three models feature a wide range of input ports and network connectivity options, allowing teachers and speakers to show all types of content, including those displayed in 3D. These benefits are increased by the interactive multi-pen option, which is used in conjunction with DisplayNote Presenter software to present, Share and interact on any platform and device.
Besides, a new optional multi-pen, which will be available in April 2014, will allow you to convert any projection surface into an interactive whiteboard. An interactivity that can be added later.
Low consumption and energy
The main problem when working on an interactive whiteboard is the shadow and reflection caused by the projector. The M Series, being short distance, significantly reduces shadow and eliminates glare. For teachers and frequent speakers, usage time is usually intensive when working in an interactive application.
For this reason, Low power consumption and long lamp life become important factors in minimizing total cost of ownership. The light barrel is sealed so that dust does not accumulate on the DLP chip, in optical lenses, the lamp or the color wheel. This advantage eliminates the need for a dust filter and reduces maintenance.
In accordance with NEC's Green Vision, Projectors offer advanced eco-friendly features such as low power settings, which reduces electrical consumption and extends the life of the lamp. In fact, when running in eco mode, These new projectors can offer up to 8.000 hours of lamp life.
Auto Eco Mode dynamically adjusts lamp brightness based on the content displayed on the screen. Besides, A new ambient light sensor also allows brightness to be adjusted according to ambient conditions.
