Google has signed an agreement with Tech Data for the wholesaler to be responsible for managing the indirect distribution in Europe of its Chromecast video streaming device.

Google Chromecast is a device, key-shaped, that allows streaming content from the Internet or any other mobile device, like a laptop, smartphone o tablet, on an HDTV television that has an HDMI port.

This Google device was already announced in the United States a year ago and now arrives in Europe thanks to Tech Data. Through its Mobile division it will provide management services, including logistics, transport, sales forecast, shopping, inventory management, billing and collections.

Google ChromecastAs part of the agreement, Tech Data Mobile has created a team of dedicated centralized account managers and a range of services, including forecast reporting, purchasing and value chain management, allowing Google retail specialists to manage all sales across the continent through a single operational interface.

“Tech Data Mobile has a state-of-the-art logistics infrastructure, capable of processing hundreds of thousands of orders with delivery in 24 hours anywhere in Europe. Through a complete range of services, “We provide channel partners with the highest level of performance for their business”, explains Antonio Valiente, director of Tech Data Mobile in Spain.
