VIA shows at ESEC 2014 your latest solutions for digital signage and the Internet of Things
VIA Technologies' attendance at the ESEC event 2014 in Japan has been featured by a six-screen video wall with VIA Fishbone architecture, Featuring a VIA MW Series display controller and VIA MagicView content management software.
VIA Technologies has taken advantage of its attendance at the Embedded Systems Expo event & Conference (FAILURE) 2014, which is being held at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center in Japan and will conclude tomorrow, Friday 16 of may, to present its latest digital signage solutions, along with integrated boards and systems that are driving the next wave of innovations in the Internet of Things.
Among the novelties that have been exhibited at the VIA stand is a six-screen video wall with VIA Fishbone architecture, equipped with a VIA MW Series wall display controller and VIA MagicView content management software.
Several multimedia players have also been shown, running on Android or Windows, that allow managing small digital signage installations, as well as a VIA tablet solution designed for mobile signage applications.
Regarding solutions oriented to the Internet of Things, VIA is showing its Smart Garden project, which consists of a small garden controlled by the VIA Springboard platform. This solution uses Android and a series of sensors and other peripherals to automate garden maintenance. Another demonstration of integrated solutions is a secure M2M portal developed in collaboration with the partner Akheda that uses software from this company executed on a VIA Amos-820 system.
