The Legislative Palace of San Lázaro in Mexico optimizes its multimedia facilities with Albiral screens
Respecting the historical environment of the San Lázaro Palace, Albiral has implemented a multimedia solution, with touch screens 12 inches, that optimizes the parliamentary assistance system, voting and discussion. Its management and control are carried out remotely with the ERT interfaces and the AH net software..
The Chamber of Deputies of the Legislative Palace of San Lázaro in Mexico wanted to optimize its facilities and implement multimedia parliamentary technology but conserve the existing furniture. To respond to this requirement Albiral supplied a customized solution, easy to implement and respectful of the historical environment.
A pedestal was added to each of the seats in which the debate system was implemented, presence, voting and biometric identification and inside a touch screen was installed that retracts through a silent system, while being fast, robust and reliable.
With this solution, incoming federal deputies have access to the parliamentary support system, diary of debates, to the initiatives and all the legislative information they need, as well as the Internet, which has allowed savings in paper consumption and associated graphic services.
Hidden Monitored Screen
The system has a motorized Albiral touch screen of 12 inches, that hides quickly and silently inside the furniture when not in use. with her, deputies have access to information in real time. The monitor appears and disappears depending on the needs, optimizes space and allows access to multimedia information.
Through the retractable touch screen, deputies can consult the legal framework, parliamentary information, chronicle and parliamentary gazettes, as well as receive and consult documents and statistical information.
Albiral motorized monitors are managed and controlled remotely through ERT interfaces and AH net software., that are in the control center. ERT interfaces allow control and diagnosis of up to 900 monitors. The system provides control whether individual, in groups or as a whole.
lifting movements, retraction, on, off, Source selection and local operation of the buttons are controlled remotely, in a practical way, easy and makes wiring as easy as possible.
Each Albiral retractable monitor has a personalized identification system, so they can be looped together and have individual control via a single cable.
Each ERT interface controls a group of 30 monitors, and the system is capable of detecting anomalies and launching alarms. So, It becomes a very useful tool for preparing events in advance., allowing the technical team to ensure the correct operation of the system before carrying out discussions while drastically reducing maintenance costs.
San Lazaro Palace
The Palace of San Lázaro was built in the same place where the San Lázaro railway station was located.. The construction was led by President José López Portillo, who hired a group of architects formed by Jorge Campuzano., Pedro Ramírez Vázquez and David Suárez to erect said work that was going to be used as the headquarters of the Political Reform of 1977, since the number of deputies had grown from 186 a 400, and they no longer fit in the Legislative Palace of Donceles.
The construction process was fast, since the need that the group had accelerated the construction. The inauguration of the palace took place at the beginning of September of the year 1981. This group settled in this building until 5 of May of the 1989, since on this date the palace suffered severe devastation due to a terrible fire that destroyed the place. However, This was restored and inaugurated in the month of November 1992, but, this time it did not house the camera, since they moved to the Congress Unit of the National Medical Center. Instead, It housed the Congress of the Union and the Chamber of Deputies.
The façade of the palace is three sections.. Two of them are covered with red tezontle and one with white marble., the latter belongs to the central body. A beautiful sculptural group was placed at the main door that was sculpted in low relief.; where you can see the national coat of arms surrounded by flags, which is located in the center of the complex.
The sculptural group is located on a green oxidized bronze plate that was erected by José Chávez Morado. It has a lobby that houses a collection of murals that show the history of the constitution of 1824, of the 1857 and of 1917 from Mexico. These murals were created by Adolfo Mexiac. It also has a section room with a capacity of 2.000 personas, which is made up of staggered seats that go down towards the center of the room.
