To adapt it to the new times, Theater du Rideau Vert has carried out a profound aesthetic and technical resources renovation, in which the replacement of the entire sound system has played a fundamental role.

This is how his technical director explains it, Guy-Alexander Morand: “as a theater we knew that the time had come to enter the 21st century and expand our technical horizons. With the adoption of new technology we have discovered ways to use audio almost as another set in our shows.. For example, we can realistically simulate a car in motion or even obtain the pure silence that a specific scene requires. It is a priority to satisfy the imagination and enhance the overall theatrical experience of performers., team and public.

With those specific theatrical requirements, those responsible for the Theatre of the Vert Rideau contacted Mathieu Guilbault, from the company specializing in advice and solutions for theaters and shows Trizart Alliance, to design the new sound system.

The objective of Guilbaut's project was that “sound emerged from everywhere, like a home theater system but in a real theater space and just as easy to use. Many audio companies have well-defined and limited rigging options. Since we needed custom made brackets and flexibility to hang the speakers, the systems of d&b audiotechnik “They were the best choice for this design”.

The new sound system at the Theater du Rideau Vert, integrated by the company Le Diplomate, It is made up of boxes from the xS Series of the White range that d&b offers for permanent installations, that are controlled from a table Yamaha CL3.
