Philips Professional Display presents the first Augmented Reality configurator on the market
The new immersive augmented reality app from Philips Display, called ARc, uniquely approximates the space between design concept and final audiovisual installation.
Designed to expand brand involvement, Philips Professional Display Solutions has taken another step in innovation with the development of ARc, the first immersive augmented reality app so far on the market, which was recently presented in WHEREAS 2019 and that “has been received as an element of change, both for partners and clients”, those responsible point out.
Offering the ability to precisely recreate the look of a Philips PDS signage display on any size and type of wall, The ARc configurator allows the manufacturer to “accompany” its partners during the product selection process, helping them immediately in selecting a model and size of digital screen that offers the best results for their business.
ARc is also easy to use thanks to a fully functional augmented reality manual, accessible from a tablet or smartphone, to direct the purchasing process. When using the device's camera, The app captures and measures the selected space so that the user knows which screen is most appropriate for their needs, presenting you the selected models installed on the virtual wall.
Besides, ARc manages to automatically fill the space with multiple screens, allowing users to set up a video wall without having to climb a ladder or open a toolbox. This augmented reality configurator from Philips Professional Display Solutions can be downloaded from these links at Apple Store and in Google.
As Martin Ware asserts, EMEA business management director de Philips Professional Display Solutions, “ARc is a perfect example of the work developed by our team to inspire and lead innovation in the AV market.. We have been impressed by the extremely positive feedback received from our partners since its launch and, at the moment, “Everyone is using this new and useful technology we have developed”.
