CSS Dolby Atmos Sound Studio

International Sound Studio has updated the equipment of its Dolby Premier cinema mixing room in Barcelona by incorporating a Dolby Atmos 3D sound system.
The design and execution of the project has been carried out by Ricard Camprodón in collaboration with CSS Audiovisual Technology.

In the installation of the Dolby Atmos system, some elements of the previous installation have been maintained, like the five central units JBL 4675 CHF with JBL MPX1200 amplification and have been added 26 JBL SCS12 units, four JBL PRX415M and three JBL4645C, with amplification based on five Crown DCI8-600 units and one Crown DCi8-300.

Due to Dolby Atmos requirements, an acoustic renovation of the room has been carried out, and the position of some elements such as the projection screen has been modified, and also the mixing console.

International Sound Studio currently has facilities 2.500 m², and has around twenty sound rooms (6 dedicated to mixes, 10 to recording, y 5 to edition).
