Tech Data focuses the METIC2015 proposal around the cloud model
METIC2015, the new edition of the event organized by Tech Data for the distribution channel, will revolve around new cloud models and technologies, which will be represented by the different business divisions of the wholesaler.
Cloud technology, the 'cloud', and the new business models it offers will be the main focus of the METIC2015 event in Tech Data, that will take place next 15 April at the International Convention and Congress Center (CCIB) from Barcelona, which this year has the motto 'Building the future: straight, opportunities and new avenues for growth' (more details in Digital AV Magazine).
The edition 2015 of this already unavoidable event for manufacturers and distributors from all over Spain regarding the proposal of this technological wholesaler, which expects to exceed the thousand attendees who attended last year, with more than a hundred manufacturers showing and training in integrated solutions in the different business areas of Tech Data.
The inaugural METIC conference 2015 will be in charge of Risto Mejide, a controversial television character, as well as a talented entrepreneur who has known how to differentiate the character as a product thanks to his experience in marketing, branding, social networks and advertising, with the presentation 'How to build your personal brand?’
In addition to the plenary room, METIC2015 will also have six additional spaces where presentations dedicated to specific areas will take place.; some of them dedicated entirely to a brand or a specific business segment. For example, there will be an exclusive space for Azlan (business solutions), another for Maverick (professional AV solutions), as well as a room dedicated to mobility with Tech Data Mobile.
Within the contents of METIC2015, 'the cloud' will have a prominent role, since the wholesaler will dedicate extensive coverage to the StreamOne platform, that brings together its cloud offering. In parallel to the general presentations, by firms like HP, IBM, Dell o Microsoft, The event will include an expanded expo area compared to last year (of more than 1.600 m2) in which attendees will be able to see and learn in detail about the latest developments from the main manufacturers.
Along with the rest of thematic areas, A large space dedicated to showing the entire Tech Data gaming portfolio will also be enabled., including some spectacular products, as state-of-the-art simulators, as well as examples of the best hardware configurations to get the most out of the latest titles on the market.
As is traditional in this event, Tech Data will hold a closing party with all those attending the event at the Alegra club, located in the port of Barcelona.
