Eurovision held its 60 anniversary with display solutions provided by XL Video

The ROE Visual MC-7T and Pixled FX-11 displays, supplied by XL Video, provided the light and color that shone in the performances offered at the event that was organized in London to commemorate the 60 anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest.

To celebrate the 60 years of the Eurovision Song Contest, The BBC organized a special event at London's Eventim Apolo, ‘Greatest Hits de Eurovision’ (The Greatest Hits of the Eurovision Song Contest), being XL Video the person in charge of supplying the Led screens for staging. Y, for it, worked in collaboration with the company Chromatic Production.

XL provided two types of display solutions. For the background of the stage, a high resolution LED Curtain was used. 10 square meters ROE Visual MC-7T, and to build the six 'wing' sections (three per side) screens were used Pixled FX-11 de 11 mm. It is an ultra-light and semi-transparent LED display that is very suitable for applications where wide viewing angles are required.. These screens formed the centerpiece of the stage and displayed a mix of Graphics Playback and VT Broadcast Packages..

The show, that was developed for this event, It was an animated production., colorful and fast paced, very in line with the line followed in Eurovision. It was broadcast throughout Europe on the BBC, host network of the event with the help of the EBU (European Broadcasting Union – European Broadcasting Union).
