Panasonic acquires MagicInk Interactive to strengthen its position in digital signage
Based in New York, MagicInk Interactive is a privately held hardware service provider, indoor digital signage network integration and software, with more than 115 store installations, hospitality and corporate clients.
With the aim of expanding its business capacity in the digital signage market, Panasonic has announced the acquisition of the North American MagicInk Interactive, a private supplier that has grown rapidly in recent years with its offering of digital displays for stores, hospitality and corporate clients; content software and digital signage network integration services.
As Jim Doyle explained, presidente de Panasonic Enterprise Solutions, “after reviewing potential acquisitions in this area, We believe MagicInk is well positioned to help significantly expand our digital signage business.. This is only the first of a series of planned initiatives. MagicInk is a leader in indoor solutions for high-end retailers, hospitality and corporate clients, which opens several routes for profitable and continuous growth”.
This acquisition marks another advance in Panasonic's strategy to accelerate the growth of its business operations in this industry., benefiting from MagicInk's experience in these sectors, while leveraging its capabilities in integrating digital visualization and DooH project management systems to expand into other regions and markets.

Since its foundation in 2008, MagicInk has more than 150 digital signage installations in indoor facilities, like the Perry Ellis boutique in Herald Square Macy's, Avon's corporate offices in New York, as well as branding projects for Heuer stores, Steve Madden, Hugo Boss y Kenneth Cole (see attached video).
