The Asot radio program is illuminated with Elation systems for its live broadcast from Mumbai

Elation Professional technology has been chosen to illuminate the spectacle of the broadcast of the special radio program 'A State of Trance', with a live electronic music concert held in Mumbai, India.

The radio show 'A State of Trance' (Sat), directed by music producer and disc-jockey Armin van Buuren, has focused weekly on electronic music since it began airing in the year 2001 and has become a reference that can be heard on more than a hundred radio stations that broadcast the program in eighty countries and through the Internet, with more than 33 millions of listeners.

Each Asot special broadcast is carried out with a live event. On the occasion of the broadcast of the seven hundredth program, Those responsible decided to celebrate with a live concert at The Dome venue in Mumbai (in india), organized in collaboration with electronic music festival promoter Sunburn, and which has featured performances by Armin van Buuren and other trance music producers such as Cosmic Gate, Orjan Nilsen, Super8 & Tab and Ruben de Ronde.

The lighting technical assembly, Led video screens and metal structures for this production have been carried out by the company Star Dimensions, with a lighting design by André Beekmans, of the company The Art of Light, and with Michael Seeverens as lighting operator, who have used the technology of Elation Professional, brand that the company sells exclusively in Spain visualsvisuals.

Specifically, for the lighting system have been deployed 54 Beam moving head units Elation Platinum Beam 5R, installed throughout the stage, along with several large LED screens. Six units of the hybrid moving head (Beam effect and Spot effect) Elation Platinum SBX were located next to the DJ booth, and on this occasion they were used together with a MYO gesture control system, connected to lighting control console.

Armin van Buuren was able to control the movements of the Platinum SBX moving heads, thanks to the MYO wristband that the DJ wore during his performance. Forty units of the Led Elation Elar pair were added to this. 180 RGBAW Pair, that were located in different areas of the venue for general lighting purposes.
