The largest Lithuanian convenience chain creates a digital signage network with SSSP and Signagelive
Lithuania's largest convenience store chain has increased sales and driven customer engagement with the brand through the digital signage network it implemented with Samsung's SSP platform and Signagelive cloud software.
Reitan Convenience Lithuania (UAB), one of the largest convenience store chains in the country and owners of the Narvesen brand has installed the Smart Signage Platform solution from Samsung con Signagelive to optimize advertising activities in stores.
Samsung's Smart Signage platform has already been installed in 25 Narvesen stores to drive customer engagement and increase sales, and it is expected that before the end of the year the project will be completed with other 40 screens. The platform has been supplied and installed by Hansab AB, technology solutions provider for Lithuania and Signagelive partner in the Baltic region.
Although Reitan Convenience Lithuania had already installed digital signage screens in most of its stores, The company was willing to move to an alternative business model that would allow them to integrate them into a network infrastructure and have greater control over content., improving third party promotions and sponsorships.
UAB began searching for an alternative solution that would offer optimal flexibility and control, plataforma Smart Sound (SSSP), powered by Signagelive, was selected as the most suitable solution, given its cloud-based capabilities and ease of use.
This digital signage network that has been installed in convenience stores in Lithuania is made up of 18 screens of 22 inches DB22D, 3 equipment 32 inches DM32E and four of 40 inches DB40E. The content is stored and managed on the Signagelive cloud platform and delivered to the different displays over the LAN without requiring external media players..
El software System on Chip (SOC) Signagelive supports different content formats, including static images, video, HDMI inputs, IPTV, web pages and RSS feeds. It also includes innovative features, like drag and drop functionality, QR code support and management integration for social media widgets.
The solution has allowed Naversen staff to be self-sufficient in the administration and management of their digital signage network with Hansab. They only need to log in to the network periodically to ensure that there are no connectivity issues and that the solution is performing optimally.
