Harman renews its training portal to facilitate certification in AMX technology
With the aim of facilitating the learning of AMX technologies, The new online portal AMX College of Harman University has developed a web space based on HTML5 with new content that can be accessed from any mobile device.
Training is a key element in the development strategy of Harman and technologies AMX, and therefore the company, via AMX College at Harman University, has renewed its online learning and certification portal, which is now fully operational.
As Chris Backus assures, senior manager del AMX College, “We are very happy to offer a new training website to our students. Many found the previous one difficult to use and it was not a mobile-friendly website. We have now corrected both of these concerns in the new portal, in addition to providing a platform for other brands within Harman Professional to share training content with our partners”.
Based on HTML5 and accessible from any mobile device, AMX College is updating each of its certification course curricula in its technologies, “based on the contributions that the community involved in the AMX training has been giving us. “There are several key elements of our certification process that have changed and will serve as a basis for future updates.”, punctual.
Along with online training, Students will also have complete information about the call and the calendar of face-to-face courses.. Each AMX College curriculum is divided into two parts or levels, in which the online course becomes the Associate level, with the objective of establishing an initial mastery of a subject, and the Professional level is the Led Course Instructor (ILC) the face-to-face course, designed to delve deeper into a topic and provide students with the tools necessary to succeed in the most complex environments.
In the online training portal, students not only have immediate access to training content that is now more complete, but also to an online support resource in case they need it at their place of study or work, “so they can 'test' their knowledge without having to attend an ILC.
The training material in these courses is offered online, but in most cases the video content is optional and only the assessment exams are required for completion. We have made a great effort to create short videos, focused on each topic, so that they have the option of watching only those they need and skipping videos on topics they already master”.
