Readers have already chosen the finalists for the Panorama Awards 2016
After a first phase, in which a total of 6.227 Panorama Audiovisual readers have chosen the finalist shortlist in each category, among the five proposed by the editorial staff, now it will be a jury, in secret ballot before a notary, who chooses each of the winners.
With the aim of promoting technological innovation in the audiovisual sector, the reference publication for professionals in this market, Panorama Audiovisual, has announced the second edition of awards that aim to recognize excellence, technological development and business innovation, professionals and television productions, cine, radio and advertising.
Last Tuesday 26 April, Internet voting was closed by the magazine's readers to choose the finalists for the II Panorama Awards, integrated into thirteen categories that recognize both equipment and technological solutions, facilities and projects, such as the technical execution of television and radio programs, film productions and spots.
The finalists
As the most outstanding company for its innovation, technical contribution or market entry, Panorama readers have chosen Hispasat, Ericsson and VSN as finalists in the 'Company of the Year' category.
Regarding the facilities with greater technical relevance ('Installation of the year'), Ad Hoc studies in Madrid, the new management network, Fox Network Group contribution and distribution (Madrid) and the renovation of the Barça TV facilities will be eligible for the award.
When it comes to solutions, in 'Technology for collection', The shortlist of finalists is made up of AK-UC3000 4K (Panasonic), Offense (AJA) and 4K Ultra HD Premier lenses (Fujifilm/Fujinon). In the 'Media Storage and Management' category, the Isis hardware solution moves to the final 1000 (Avid) and two software, Luxor (Estructure) y Evolution (Tedial). In equipment or 'Technology for study', finalists are the new IP-based mixer, TWENTY (EVS), the solution for IP Live production (Sony) and the latest addition to Riedel's MediorNet family, MicroN.
As 'Technology for the broadcast and distribution' of content on any platform and device, Panorama readers have chosen three very different solutions as finalists: Advances (Sapec), Cloud DVR (Ericsson) and alone (LiveU).
DaVinci Resolve 12 (Blackmagic Design), Flame 2016 (Autodesk) y Mamba FX (Sgo) are the three solutions that have passed the first cut in the category of equipment or technology applied to post-production environments, composition or effects 'Post-production technology'.
In 'Graphic creation', Brainstorm, Ventuz and ChyronHego are listed with their Infinity Set solutions, sucker 5 and Vistacam, respectively.
In the 'Audio' category, The jury will have to choose between three consoles: dLive (Allen Heath), Shore PM10 (Yamaha) y Venue S6L (Avid).
Regarding technical execution in radio, television, cinema and advertising refers, The prize in 'Radio Production' will be competed for by Los Concesos de Radio 3, directed by Tomás Fernando Flores with Juan Carlos Prieto and Juan Manuel Pérez Morales in the technical production; Today for Today (SER Chain), directed by Pepa Bueno and Gemma Nierga with Roberto Maján, Jordi Pou and Elena Sánchez in the technical production; and The Rose of the Winds (Zero Wave), directed by Bruno Cardeñosa and Silvia Casasola with José Ignacio Arias Gómez in the technical production.

Jury time

This jury will be made up of eleven independent professionals of recognized solvency who, in a secret vote before the notary of the Iltre. Madrid Notarial College, D. Javier de Lucas y Cadenas, will decide the winners of these awards.
To preserve independence and transparency throughout the process, The members of the Jury and their deliberation will only be announced at the 2nd Panorama Awards gala.. This ceremony will take place on Tuesday evening, 24 May 2016, in the South Auditorium of Feria de Madrid (IFEMA) coinciding with the opening of the Professional Audiovisual Technology Show BIT 2016.
