Canon shows off its new 4K laser projection technology for simulation environments

The manufacturer will present the prototype of its new 4K projector that uses a phosphor laser light source during the international ITEC forum, specialized simulation, military training and education.

With the aim of responding to the needs of high-level simulation and the training industry, Canon will present at ITEC, of the 17 al 19 May at the Excel in London (stand E0120), a prototype of a new 4K projector that uses a phosphor laser light source especially suitable for simulation training environments.

In this sense, The company will also combine two Xeed 4K500ST installation projectors in this event, to demonstrate how these 4K devices and their LCOS technology can offer a real simulation experience for a wide variety of training applications, like ultra-realistic flight simulation, in which a realistic reproduction of the scenarios is required.

A recording of an air trip over San Francisco will also be projected on a curved screen at the fair., in which Marginal Focus technology will be used (marginal approach) by Canon, to produce a large scale image, clear and crisp from edge to edge. XEED 4K500ST projector offers clean color gradation and high color fidelity, which together with the low latency of this model, The demonstration is so real that the user seems to experience it 'in situ'.
