As Julio Tárrega explains, in charge of broadcasting AV content in the stadium, “Before we only had a scoreboard with a graphics signal generated from a computer, via a DVI connection, and another live SDI signal supplied by the broadcaster, whose switching was done through a mixer. We now have four live signals, three cameras, an additional signal provided by the station, two playback systems and two LiveCG Football character generators. All these contents are directed to the five scoreboards of the stadium”.

“Thanks to the development tools offered by Blackmagic, IDChromvideo created an application for touch screen devices that allows the operator to select the signal they want to transmit through the main output of the mixer or overlay it on a background image., Tárrega points out.
