The general assembly of members has elected Beatriz Medina, by A3 Media, and Ángel Nebot, de Smartclip, as new president and vice president, respectively of this entity.

IAB Spain joins directive 2016The association of advertising and digital communication in Spain, IAB Spain, has elected the new board of directors that will govern this entity for the next two years after holding its ordinary general meeting of partners.

The composition of the new Board of Directors has Beatriz Medina (A3 Media) as president, and Ángel Nebot (Smartclip) as vice president. The rest of the members are Chechu Lasheras (Hurry); Gonzalo Casas (Editorial Unit); Yago Sosa (Schibsted); Borja Fernandez (Vocento); Javier Navarro (Doubleyou); Luis Vegas (Ontwice); Rubén Ferreiro (Praise); Gonzalo Clean (Omnicom Media Group); Luis Esteban (Iprospect); Orero Bin (GroupM); Marcos Luengo (Adman Media); Mikel Lekaroz (Zodiac); Nacho Azcoitia (Yoc Spain); Eduardo Ballesteros (Clear Channel); Jesus Ramirez (Heineken), and Carlos Sánchez (Animal Maker)

For the new president of IAB Spain, “The Assembly has shown the number of projects in which all the associates are working. Activity is frenetic in digital, and the leadership of an association like IAB is more necessary than ever, that we have built together and that already has the recognition and position it deserves. Now it's time to manage growth and give it the level of professionalism that the market demands without forgetting that innovation is the essence of the association.".

Also, The new vice president of this entity has indicated that he assumes this responsibility “with the purpose of continuing to work for the development and consolidation of our digital sector.”. The essence of IAB is the service to our associates and the market in general., and together we have to influence the line already marked in previous years: excellence in research, increase training options for members of our market, anticipation and response to growing challenges, y, ultimately, continue working to add all sectors for the growth of digital advertising”.
