d&b audiotechnik joins AVnu Alliance to promote open audio standards

The speaker system manufacturer joins this consortium that promotes the adoption of protocols such as Audio Video Bridging and Time Sensitive Networking (AVB/TSN) and an open ecosystem of certified products.

AVB/TSN is a set of open standards developed by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, IEEE), and represents an evolution of the Ethernet standard to enable high-quality audio and video production and data control.

These open standards also provide significant performance and reliability improvements and, at the same time, allows establishing a secure, multi-supplier ecosystem.
