Tripleplay delivers cloud-hosted digital signage for Samsung Smart Signage Platform

This manufacturer's cloud digital signage hosting platform is now expanded for Samsung's SSP, just as it was done until now with televisions and screens, without the need for users to have an external media player or set top.

After the association made a year ago between Tripleplay y Samsung to offer a unique and innovative video streaming solution, IPTV and digital signage directly to the South Korean manufacturer's SSP smart signage platform (more information in this diary), this collaboration now extends to the TripleLite Digital Posters cloud-hosted system, without the need for an external decoder or digital signage player

TripleLite Digital Posters is Tripleplay's cloud digital signage solution that has been delivering content to screens around the world since 2012 across the range Amino Set Top Box. After the development of SOC (system on chip) on screens and the need to respond to customer demand to offer more options on the screens, Integration with Samsung SSP has raised the technological bar for this industry.

In this sense, Rickless highlights the project carried out at the Daytona International Speedway circuit with the deployment of eight hundred Samsun SSP screens (more information about this project in Digital AV Magazine), which are added to the thousands that already operate worldwide. “This new advance allows us to deliver our hardware platform at zero cost to the customer; which only needs the Samsung SSP display and a network connection. Our cloud platform has a low monthly cost and allows digital signage to be brought closer to companies and organizations that previously did not have a sufficient budget and that with this announcement will be even more affordable.”.

Tripleplay continues to offer its Poster Digital service through the Amino Set Top Boxes range as due to live streaming restrictions IPTV is not available through cloud-hosted digital signage solutions.
