Álava Ingenieros and Photonfocus AG sign a distribution agreement for the imaging and photonics area

Photonfocus AG, Swiss manufacturer of industrial cameras and CMOS sensors with patented LinLog technology for machine vision and optical metrology, and the Spanish Álava Engineers have signed a distribution agreement for the imaging and photonics business area in Spain and Portugal.

As Ricardo Azaustre explains, business development in these areas in Álava Ingenieros, “Photonfocus has extensive experience in the design of image sensors. CMOS technology is complemented by real-time preprocessing in FPGAs or DSPs, allowing its application in multiple artificial vision applications. Besides, is a pioneer in the development and design of software-defined camera platforms and IP image preprocessing”.

Among the range of cameras from the Swiss manufacturer are high dynamic range CMOS (HDR) for standard vision and optical metrology applications; high speed GigE Vision; 3D CMOS systems with LinLog technology, hyperspectral cameras with GigE Vision interface and multi-line linear cameras with CMOS technology.
