Synology updates its collaboration tools to boost communication between teams

Office, Calendar and Chat are the new unified communication applications that have been designed to work integrated with each other and increase the flow of ideas between employees.

Synology has added three new applications to its catalog of collaboration solutions : Office, Calendar and Chat. Besides, sync packages in public cloud, multiplatform and multimedia, They have also been updated.

“Organizations face increasing demands to adapt to changing ways of working. Synology continues to explore the boundaries of innovation and introduces a set of unified communication tools that work on your devices. Applications that are closely integrated with each other, to increase the flow of ideas among employees and drive effective communication between teams”, explains Derren Lu, vice president of Synology Applications and Networks group.

With Chat, the messages, mentions and channels offer real-time communication for easy collaboration.

Data management tools centralize information in one place, and encryption for private channels protects sensitive data from internal or external threats. The mobile version of this app is available for iOS and Android.

The Calendar app: allows you to share calendars, Schedule meetings and add new events directly within MailPlus. CalDAV support makes it easy to sync Synology calendar with native iOS and macOS calendars.

Office allows you to work together on documents or spreadsheets, remotely or locally. Office and Chat integration makes virtual collaboration easier and better.
