D&b sample in Prolight+Sound 2017 how you perceive the artistic and social needs of the AV sector
The ArrayCalc Viewer mobile interface and the R1 array verification tool will be some of the new features to be presented at the Frankfurt fair, which will be accompanied by other solutions such as the Y Series, J and V or the V7P and V10P point source loudspeakers.
D&b audiotechnik will attend one more year Prolight+Sound 2017, which will take place in Frankfurt 4 al 7 April, to announce its latest developments such as the ArrayCalc Viewer application that will be presented at the fair.
This new mobile interface provides all the essential information for setting up and hanging a digital speaker system.&b in a quick and easy format that includes all important data for rigging, configuration and system.
Another novelty that can be seen at your stand (Pavilion 3.1 C15) and that represents a further advance in the functionality of the d software.&b, is the R1 fix verification tool. Available in the latest version of R1, and on laptops at the stand, works by identifying the position of a speaker in the array and, next, compares its order in the array with the one in ArrayCalc.
Together, the Y Series, J and V make the most of new software solutions. These three Series offer expandable methods, versatile and flexible to effectively undertake all types of mobile or permanent professional audio work, from the smallest sound reinforcement for oral communications in companies, to the big stadium shows.
Within the family of d&b, These three series combine line and point source technologies, acoustic and visual, to ensure maximum assembly speed, efficiency and consistency. They cooperate and share the same standard amplifier platform, wiring solutions and three point rigging procedure and design.
In the Y Series, J and V also incorporate improvements thanks to Workflow, o workflow d&b, plus a recent package of assistive technologies: ArrayCalc simulation software, which includes the optional ArrayProcessing optimization function; NoizCalc immission prediction software and R1 Remote Control software.
V7P and V10P point source loudspeakers will also be present, which according to the company offer exceptional results in the mid-range and are ideal whenever lines of sight, the weight or channels of the amplifier prevent the use of small line arrays.
Moving towards launch in May, Visitors to the fair will also be able to see the new Touring Rack from 6 x D80, created to allow wiring, set up and move more efficiently. Con 6 D80 amplifiers in a single rack, a total of 12 J Series boxes with ArrayProcessing or 24 boxes in standard mode with linked speakers.

Outside the stand there will be two presentations of d&b, specifically in the Manufacturers Forum, located on level C, in the room Substanz. on Wednesday 5 April, David Claringbold, former technical director of the Sydney Opera House, will address the issue of sound in the environment as part of d's Sound Futures program&b audiotechnik.
Thursday 6 April Elena Shabalina and Daniel Belcher will discuss the topic of noise emission management and examine first experiences, with measurements and comparisons, by NoizCalc, which was announced at this same fair last year.
