Vivitek technology promotes collaboration at Universum Science Museum
The NovoPro wireless collaboration tool has been installed in the conference room of the Science Museum of the National Autonomous University of Mexico in order to simplify sessions, some of which are done remotely.
Inaugurated in 1992, Universum is one of the first science museums to open in Latin America. It is located on the campus of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Unam) and focuses on providing support to university science projects. It currently has thirteen rooms, which are divided by different themes.
In addition to the exhibitions, in this center they celebrate up to 20 conferences per month and hosts a wide variety of meetings aimed at the scientific community. As Pedro Munive explains, responsible for video communication at the Universum Science Museum, “All our events are organized with visual presentations and we needed technology that would allow us to do it in a simple way that will improve collaboration in our video conference room”.
Some of the sessions are done remotely, with participants connected via video conferencing systems. “We needed a versatile solution that would allow us to incorporate these participants with our visualization systems”.
To respond to all these requirements, they decided to implement the NovoPro wireless collaboration tool from Vivitek with which it has been possible to improve productivity and promote teamwork and collaboration.
With NovoPro, Users can connect their devices via WiFi and start sharing content immediately. Streaming content in 1080p/WUXGA resolution at 60 fps, Allows up to four people to present on one screen while connecting up to 64 users via iOS, Android, Windows, Chromebooks y Mac OS.
NovoPro makes it easy to view content from any device on a projection or monitor, and additional tools, such as screenshot or annotation on the content, opens a new range of possibilities in any room. Participants can immediately connect to this tool and share their content in full screen or split screen to show up to four devices at once.
