Avaya appoints Javier Velasco as regional sales manager
The new regional sales leader Avaya will be responsible for the Spanish markets, Portugal, Slovakia, Poland and Czech Republic.
Sourced from Genesys, where until now he held the position of country manager for Iberia, Javier Velasco has been appointed by Avaya regional sales leader for the Spanish markets, Portugal, Slovakia, Poland and Czech Republic.
As the statement points out, Its priority will be to “drive excellence in execution in all lines of business.”, providing outstanding experiences to all customers, while working closely with the partner community to meet the company's growth objectives”.
Graduate in Mathematics from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Velasco has developed his career in technology companies such as Incita, Progress DataDirect, Software AG y Tibco, among others, performing both commercial and marketing responsibilities.
As Andrea Ragazzi has pointed out, Vice President, Southern Europe, Avaya, “Javier brings with him a wealth of professional and personal experience and a deep knowledge of the customer experience industry in Europe.. we have started 2018 with Avaya listed on the New York Stock Exchange, which is going to be a real shock for the company. We are sure that Javier will add enormous value to our shareholders., clients and channel partners and will be a key figure in the new stage of the company in these markets”.
