FBT expands X-Pro family with two speakers and an active subwoofer with DSP

This versatile family, intended for use in scenarios, fixed facilities and boardrooms, has been extended with the X-Pro passive booster speaker 215, X-Pro 215A loudspeaker and active subwoofer with XSub 15SA DSP.

The X-Pro family of FBT, brand that distributes in Spain Magnetron, has been extended with the new self-powered loudspeaker with 2 speakers 15 inch X-Pro 215A, the passive version X-Pro 215 and the XSub 15Sa subwoofer. Italian design and development, these models join a line of products that are characterized by their versatility to be used in any application, from stages to fixed installations and boardrooms.

Made of plywood, the X-Pro family offers features such as its efficient speakers and linear with custom FBT design, compression motors with opening of 25 Mm (1″), moving coils of 35 Mm (1,4″) and speakers that can be rotated to ensure optimal coverage angle.

Family, which already had passive and active models of 10, 12 and 15 single-speaker inches, now expanded with the X-Pro 215A, a bi-amplified system of two speakers of 1600 W (class D) + 200 W (AB class) and an SPL of 129/132 Db. Inside its enclosure are two woofers of 15″ with moving coils of 64 Mm (2,5″) plus an opening of 25 Mm (1″) for a compression motor with moving coil of 35 Mm (1,4″).

The result is a frequency response of 42 Hz to 20 khz, with a rotating speaker with constant directivity of 80×50 degrees. On the other hand, the passive model X-Pro 215 has a power of 800 W and reaches an SPL of 132 Db, with a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz and the same coverage with 80 rotating horn×50 Degrees.

The last member of the family is the XSub 15SA subgravs, a more compact version, but very powerful, of his existing older brother, XSUB 18SA.

Built in birch plywood 15 mm with bass reflex design and scratch and mark resistant paint finish, the XSUB 15SA has been manufactured to accompany the X-Pro and X-LITE equipment. Achieves a continuous SPL of 131 dB and 135 peak dB with 1200 W via a 15 woofer″ high excursion with a moving coil of 75 Mm (3″).

This subwoofer provides a frequency response of 42 Hz to 120 Hz and has integrated digital signal processing with 4 factory presets, 2 equalization configurations and 2 low-pass filters. The operation is performed through an integrated control panel with stereo input and output combo XLR/jack 6,3 Mm, XLR stereo output of high-pass filters, options for volume control, equalization presets, switch to reverse polarity (0°-180°) and Led status indicators.

The XSub 15SA can be mounted on a mast thanks to the integrated M20 upper receptacle, although optional transport wheels of 100 Mm. It has two aluminum handles to help in its transport.
