Polycom Trio Expands High-End Video Conferencing Capabilities for Meeting Rooms
The manufacturer wants to simplify the end-user experience with innovations like Polycom Pano, with secure access to share content, and the extension of the agreement with Zoom.
Among the functions that Polycom has announced for its flagship Trio solution, highlights Pano's secure guest access, as well as the extension of the agreement with Zoom, the result of which is the Polycom Zoom Rooms solution, aiming to enhance video conferencing capabilities with intelligent experiences in meeting rooms of all sizes.
For this, Polycom Trio will work with the company's video codec (with updates available starting next July), in addition to the current VisualPlus, opening the door to video conferencing capabilities previously reserved for larger rooms, such as the facial tracking feature of its EagleEye Director II and Eagle Eye Producer systems.
It will also offer an optimized room experience with support for two monitors, Enhanced audio coverage with ceiling-mounted microphones and HDMI connectivity. No need for additional remote controls, Polycom Trio touchscreen becomes the only interface needed to manage call volume, camera zoom and more.

Trio 8800: is the great Zoom Rooms conference room package, including the Trio zoom camera 8800, along with EagleEye IV MPTZ HD video and Dell Optiplex, and has more advanced speakers designed to deliver higher quality audio fidelity in larger rooms.
