the Villanueva University Center of Madrid wanted to adapt more than 25 new classrooms with a solution that provides a wide viewing, that would provide fluidity and dynamism to each environment and that would be sustainable and efficient. They were looking for intuitive technology, large format and operational for continuous use. The answer to this project was i3-Technologies.

In some special classrooms laser projection has been implanted (i3Projector) with i3Board interactive whiteboards from 135 Inch, that allow an optimal resolution adjustment and up to 10 simultaneous touches, while in the standard classrooms it was opted for large format projection on whiteboard of 6-8 metre. A whole wall on which to combine projection with traditional writing. In the case of the seminar area, the 4K i3Touch interactive monitors from 65 Inch.

I3 Technologies at Universidad VillanuevaInstalled ultra-short distance laser projection equipment offers images in format 16:6 with resolution of 1,920×720 in a size of up to 3.15×1,20 meters without any distortion or deformation.

The design of the building encouraged the creation of a clean space, no unnecessary accessories, such as controls or cables. This is why it was decided to use the controllers for classrooms of the firm Comm which feature HDMI and VGA inputs and outputs for connecting external devices.
