TVOne CORIOmaster powers Europe's largest ceiling-mounted Led screen

This spectacular video wall 180 square meters, installed on the roof of the Fen Court building in London, is configured with 540 Absen panels 5 mm N series and is powered by the TVOne CORIOmaster C3-510 mini processor.

A mini video wall processor TVOne CORIOmaster is responsible for managing a spectacular Led screen of 180 square meters. This is installed on the ceiling of a hallway that runs through the center of Fen Court, a new office 15 london flats.

In this project, the AV system integrator Sysco joined the British distributor PSCO to install this Led screen powered by TVOne's CORIOmaster processor.

As you enter the hallway, that a Fenchurch Street y Fenchurch Avenue, Passersby are greeted by an impressive LED screen suspended from the ceiling. This is configured by 540 panels Roll call of 5 mm N series, that cover 180 square meters (13,8×12,9 metros).

Sysco designed a facility that meets structural restrictions and building regulations. After extensive research and investigation, presented the LED ceiling as the most suitable option due to its high brightness, design flexibility and ability to be suspended upside down from a height of 9,5 metros.

“Customer requirements for delivering live video, from the roof, as well as pre-made art media, meant we needed a simple solution that worked with little customer intervention. TVOne's CORIOmaster configures the output resolution and aspect ratio required for the Led screen, scaling content to ensure optimal flawless quality”, Graeme Bunyan clarifies, Sysco CTO.

Content is streamed live from two Axis 4K outdoor cameras, which are mounted on the roof of the building. Streams from cameras and media player are sent to the Led screen.

Due to its design, The ceiling uses Led screens with a custom resolution of 2,680×840 a 30Hz.

TVOne CORIOmaster is one of the few processors with the ability to add custom resolutions to work with screens in the desired format. With a compact form factor it comes in a 1RU chassis and supports multiple windows that can be resized, add, delete and rotate dynamically on the wall.

This project uses the C3-510 model, which benefits from two 4K30/60 HDMI input modules and three 4K30 HDMI upscaling output modules..

Designed by Eric Parry Architects, Fen Court is Generali Real Estate's first development in London. Its objective was to create a building of 15 floors that blend in harmony with their surroundings, but one that would stand as an icon with its own sense of place.

The dialogue between London and Fen Court is complemented through a video by artists Vong Phaophanit and Claire Oboussier. Titulado ‘The Call of Things’, The city's large parks and waterscapes are represented through four paintings, each centered at the intersection between the stations.
The Led screen presents this artistic piece throughout the day, working in a continuous loop between live media and artistic content.
