the Spanish Association, through the agency Media Health, has installed in its clinics one hundred self-management totems for which the multi-touch monitors and Led TD2220 of ViewSonic.

Viewsonic at Asociacion española UruguayThe Spanish Association is a mutual society founded in 1853 in Uruguay that provides assistance coverage to more than 189.000 Partners, while Media Health is a digital signage channel custom built for healthcare institutions, among others.

Media Health was looking for a solution that would reduce waiting times and queue congestion. For this I wanted to implement self-management totems, easy to use by older users with little experience with technology. In addition, had to meet user acceptance objectives and the ability to display advertising on screens.

The systems to be implemented had to have touch technology, offer Full HD resolution, HDMI connectivity and being built with a robust housing, given the high traffic in which they were to be installed (between 80.000 and 90.000 visits per month).

"After having carried out a market study, we chose ViewSonic because of the support of the brand and because it was the one that best suited our needs", explains Juan Pablo Miloc, Director of Media Health.

They bought a total of one hundred monitors to be installed in the self-management totems of the clinics that cover the entire coastal strip (200 Kilometers) and to the north of the country (100 Kilometers).

Viewsonic at Asociacion española UruguaySelf-management totems have had a great acceptance by both patients and the medical institution and customers who use them as an advertising platform.

"The Institution has always been characterized by offering high quality services with excellent infrastructure, human resources and state-of-the-art technology. Now it also provides simple and practical self-service tools that allow you to provide better customer service, expanding the channels and optimizing your time", says Ana Fernández, Manager of Organization and Systems of the Spanish Association.
