DLA VS47NV and VS45NV models include a new IR Led block, designed for simulation exercises with night vision (NPA), which together with DLA-VS4600 are incorporated into the D-ILA range.

JVC dla-vs4600The three new projectors that JVC Visual Systems, division of JVC Kenwood USA, just presented for simulation applications incorporate D-ILA chips, BLU-Escent laser/phosphor light source, contrast ratio 12.000:1, vertical soda 120 Hz and native DCI 4K resolution (4.096×2.160p).

The DLA-VS4600 offers 4.000 Ansi lumens, while the DLA-VS47NV and VS45NV devices, each of 3.000 lumens, include a new IR Led block, designed specifically for night vision simulation exercises (NPA).

Besides, The DLA-VS47NV projector includes an 8K resolution image mode from 4K signals, with stunning level of detail thanks to pixel shifting technology, called JVC e-shift.

“We were waiting for the I/ITSEC contest 2018 to present these exclusive projectors for simulation - explains Ian Scott, vp. of the visual systems division at JVCKenwood USA-. Provide exceptional image quality for training in night vision applications, and our BLU-Escent laser lighting technology offers a level of brightness that lasts over the years, “with fewer maintenance requirements compared to projectors with lamps”.

BLU-Escent technology, with dynamic laser control with frame coding (FEDLC), uses a solid-state hybrid lighting system that reduces operating costs. Besides, allows you to place the projector in multiple positions and angles without limits, providing sustained performance of up to 30.000 hours of uninterrupted operation.

The three new projectors work with a color depth of 12 bits via DisplayPort 1.2a inputs, color management on six axes, gamma correction 12 bits and digital reduction of smearblack box.

They also incorporate automatic intensity and color calibration functions., which in turn contributes to reducing maintenance costs, plus customizable gamma presets and serial control via RS-232, to which is added the extensive catalog of fixed optics, JVC zoom and adapters for these models.
