New software application helps audio-visual system professionals design room sound quickly and with very little training.

Bose Array Tool GaplasaSo says Trevor Donarski, product line manager Bose Professional: "for us it was important that the software hardly had a learning curve. We developed it to help system designers identify the optimal speakers and their ideal location with less effort and time. Our goal was to design a familiar and easy-to-use tool..

The Bose Array Tool software allows you to control different variables, as the size of the room, budgetary constraints, the speaker model and location. By using a direct field calculation engine, system designers can quickly test different models, speaker locations and formations to meet the audio needs of a room.

In addition, provides intuitive drawing tools to dynamically manipulate room surfaces and speakers, as well as visualize the coverage effect of the speakers in near real time. Order lists, rigging and fix information can be easily exported to make virtual designs a reality.

“We know that, generally, system designers spend many hours creating quick estimates," says Donarski.. Bose Array Tool allows you to reduce that load and test various coverage and SPL options, according to specific budget and room requirements, and provide estimates quickly”.

In the version 1.0, currently available for download, design is supported with panaray msa12x speaker, and more Bose Professional speaker models will be supported in future releases, brand that sells in the Spanish market Gaplasa.
