This model, offering a complete pixel-free viewing experience, responds to the requirements of the market that is committed to the incorporation of ultra high definition in equipment less than 60”.

NEC V554Q

NEC Display Solutions has announced in the European market a new screen that carries ultra high definition (UHD) to small and affordable screens. MultiSync V554Q offers a complete pixel-free viewing experience.

Although the UHD device market continues to grow at a very rapid pace, is still mainly limited to screens larger than 60 inches. However, this is expected to change with smaller screens, to be upgraded from Full HD to UHD.

The new V554Q features a 55 inches that incorporates UHD technology designed for multiple applications such as corporate environments, retail, control rooms and DooH.
UHD technology offers great advantages over Full HD, including higher pixel density (3.840×2.160 compared to 1920×1.080 para Full HD), as well as providing effortless readability from both long and short viewing distances.

This makes the V554Q ideal for a wide variety of applications including digital signage, meeting rooms, presentations, CAD or conference. As UHD prices become more affordable, it becomes easier to incorporate ultra-high resolution into a wider variety of screen sizes..

Analysts at Futuresource Consulting predict that the EMEA market for UHD displays of 55 inches will grow by more than 50% during this year, as businesses look to benefit from the benefits of higher resolutions, including a better viewing experience at both long distances and close-ups.

In addition to providing optimal viewing, V554Q display delivers the highest quality images throughout the life of the device, thanks to integrated SpectraView engine, ensuring reliable color reproduction, with out-of-the-box calibration capabilities, for easier and more continuous configuration of visual parameters.

The new display is also compatible with NEC's Open Modular Intelligence platform (Water), allowing you to upgrade your display power at any time by integrating one of NEC's options for OPS Slot-in PCs, Raspberry Pi compute modules or signal interfaces for content. “We are seeing a great transformation in the screen market with the arrival of UHD to models of less than 60 inches in the next 12 months. NEC now has three 55'-inch large format displays that support UHD: the new V554Q, the newly announced E557Q and the 55” NEC InfinityBoard interactive collaboration display. “Some equipment that responds to the increase in demand in that segment”, " said Martin Lienau, product manager Large Format Displays de NEC Display Solutions Europe.

“Thanks to that, end customers have the best for pixel-free display in every application they want: from analytical and detailed presentations, meeting spaces and rooms, to a comfortable viewing experience for retail signage”, continua Lienau.
