The Pro AV market is a strategic priority for Exertis and Comm-Tec is a key investment and a European platform to continue to grow.

DCC Technology Trading (Exertis) has announced the acquisition of the Pro AV solutions provider for installers and system integrators in Europe, Comm-Tec.

Headquartered near Stuttgart, the company generated revenues of more than 90 million euros for its last financial year. It has more than 150 employees between its headquarters in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and Spain, and has a commercial presence in Eastern Europe.

Comm-Tec provides a wide range of Pro AV solutions encompassing hardware solutions for collaboration for presentations, digital signage, and signals and control management; tools for installation such as racks and stands. The company has relations in Spain with a wide range of suppliers including boat, Dataton, ClearOne, Brightsign, Chief, Gefen, Middle Atlantic, Newline and Datapath, among others.

After the completion of the acquisition, Comm-Tec management team will be reporting to Eric Bousquet, director general of Exertis Commercial Western Europe.
