The University of Granada inaugurates the course with new sound installations

The inauguration of the academic year took place in the new Crucero room, equipped with FBT audio systems and Sennheiser microphones.

Located in the old Royal Hospital, the University of Granada has inaugurated the academic year and the new facilities of the so-called Cruise room, which has a complete audio system.

The installation consists of twenty-one Project series loudspeakers 530 from the manufacturer FBT, that have been strategically distributed throughout the space to achieve a uniform sound, while reducing room reverberation problems.

Automatic mixing of audio sources is done with a DMM processor 8008 that feeds a multichannel MPU stage 4240.

For the microphone system, wireless desktop systems from the German manufacturer have been selected. Sennheiser, brand that sells in the Spanish market Magnetron, specifically the SpeechLine Series, with the installation of five units of the SL TS model 133 GN with wireless battery charging.

This series guarantees interference-free transmission thanks to its automatic frequency management, as well as its robust digital transmission. Another of its advantages is that the systems can be monitored in real time via LAN by the technical means of the University of Granada..
