Harman delivers immersive AV solution to Modena By Fraser Buriram hotel

To provide guests with clear and crisp sound, an immersive audio experience, A network solution based on JBL equipment has been installed, Soundcraft y Crown.

Mahajak Development has equipped the hotel Modena By Fraser Buriram with an innovative network audio system Harman Professional Solutions to create an immersive AV solution that responds to a wide range of events.

built in 2018, Modena By Fraser Buriram is a hotel known for its elegant combination of functionality and style. Located within walking distance of the famous Chang International racing circuit and Chang Arena football stadium, It has an ideal location for sports fans. Behind its facade are 152 luxurious rooms, a spacious lobby and a large ballroom, used for weddings, product launches, car shows, business conferences, etc.

To deliver clear, detailed sound in the ballroom and throughout the hotel, Modena By Fraser Buriram hired integrators Mahajak Development to design and install a premium network audio solution, based on Harman Professional Solutions brands JBL, Soundcraft y Crown.

“To ensure consistent sound in all locations, we install a network audio system using Hrman AV solutions”, Common Pongsakorn Lightning Phoum, Mahajak Development Project Director. “With the grand ballroom as a multi-purpose venue, we develop a customizable system with excellent clarity for any event. We selected JBL sound equipment together with Crown and Soundcraft because it met all the hotel's environmental demands”.

Mahajak Development has equipped the ballroom with JBL CBT 200LA-1 line array column speakers. Con Constant Beamwidth Technology , CBT 200LA-1 speakers deliver clear sound with wide, uniform coverage.

To provide additional low-end support, Mahajak Development selected JBL AC118S high-power subwoofers, which feature an extended frequency response up to 32 Hz. Besides, installed JBL Control 226C/T ceiling speakers throughout the facility to provide balanced, even coverage.

The system is powered by Crown CDi amplifiers 2|1200 and CDi 2|300, featuring pre-loaded JBL speaker tunings to help make installations quicker and easier.

Onstage signals are sent through a Soundcraft Mini Stagebox 32R to a Si Impact digital mixing console. With versatile routing options, Advanced DSP processing and color-coded FaderGlow technology, Si Impact makes it easy for staff to deliver optimal sound.

To distribute signals throughout the facility, a BSS BLU-100 signal processor has been installed, providing low latency streaming for up to 48 audio channels over traditional Category 5e cabling.
