Korean companies Samsung and d'strict, both based in Seoul, have announced their official partnership after working together on a flagship project in their home country (in the image above, video attached and in Digital AV).

An initiative that aims to show the potential of digital signage using Samsung's Smart Signage platform, with the design of cutting-edge digital screens in art projects, beyond displaying information or advertising,and in global benchmarks around the world, like Times Square (New York – USA) and in the Duomo of Milan (Italy).

blankSmart Signage is a tailor-made digital signage solution from Samsung that has an open platform for third-party innovations, powered by a software development kit.

As Hyesung Ha has pointed out, Vp. from Samsung, Hyesung Ha, "This partnership aligns with our vision to extend the user experience with 'screens everywhere'.’ and display enhanced content with the latest display technology".

The partnership comes after both companies captured global attention last May., when they came together to create a design of a giant and dynamic wave (The Wave) in 3D with Samsung's Smart Led platform.

Samsung smart led signage CoexFor this project in the SMTown building Coex, in Seoul's Gangnam shopping district, the largest DooH Led advertising screen in the country was created, with a surface of 1.620 Samsung m², result of joining two large visual systems by a curved edge, which took seven months to settle in and was 'lit'’ in 2018 (more data in this daily), although it has been in May of 2020 when the dynamic project has been carried out with d'strict.
