LG UL3G: digital signage displays for 4K UHD applications

This line, Available in versions ranging from 43 at 86 inches, It has been designed with IPS Ultra HD panels, webOS and wireless connectivity.

LG Business Solutions has introduced two new series of digital signage screens, designed for 4K UHD commercial communications in stores, restaurants, hospitals, schools, hotels, stadiums and offices. These are the UL3G and US340C series.

Both are designed to display 4K image quality with vivid colors and fine details., and are available in a dozen models ranging from 43 at 86 inches.

The UL3G series is made up of intelligent displays that have the System-on-Chip (SoC) Quad Core, that can multitask while providing content playback without requiring a media player.

Besides, Signage webOS offers an intuitive GUI and simple application development tools.

This smart platform supports connections with external sensors, like GPIO, NFC/RFID, temperature sensors, etc. via USB connector. Overall maintenance cost is reduced, as there is no need to purchase additional software or media players to create value-added solutions.

The UL3G line is available in six versions, of 43, 49, 55, 65, 75 y 86 inches. It has a WiFi connection and Beacon and BLE features (Bluetooth Low Energy), with which store managers can provide coupons and information in real time.

These screens also function as a virtual router that can serve as a wireless access point for mobile devices., ensuring a solid connection and strengthening a company's wireless network.

Designed for use in 16/7, each model offers 8 GB of memory and a brightness of 350 nits. The series supports SuperSign CMS, SuperSign Control/Control+ and Media Editor so users can maximize the utility of their digital signage networks.

US340C Series

The US340C series will be sold in the United States but not in the European market. This is an entry level commercial television signaling line that has removed Wi-Fi capability, making it an ideal solution when network security is a priority, as in the case of government applications, financial and even some educational.

This line supports SuperSign Control, provides 300 nits of brightness and includes a pair of stereo speakers 10 watts. It is recommended for applications that require up to 16 hours of daily run time.

LG IPS panels on most UL3G and US340C models (except that of 50 inches) offer a 4K UHD resolution of 2,160×3.840 pixels with excellent off-axis viewing angles and color accuracy.

All models are HEVC compatible (High Efficiency Video Coding) that effectively compresses or decompresses high-capacity 4K content, providing ultra-high quality video playback with half the network traffic of the existing H.264 codec.

Both series are TAA compatible, have been certified by Crestron Connected for their high compatibility with professional AV controls for seamless integration and automatic control, increasing business management efficiency. This line is offered in models of 43, 50, 55, 65, 75 y 86 inches.
