Barceló Punta Umbría Beach Resort trusts in Electro-Voice and Dynacord sound systems

In the privileged enclave of the Costa de la Luz, in front of a practically virgin beach, Barceló Punta Umbría Beach Resort offers all the comforts and services of a four-star establishment in this tourist area of ​​Andalusia.

To this end, it has renewed the sound system in several of its leisure areas to improve the intelligibility and quality of the sound.. The installation, by specialist Alo Sonido, has previously required an acoustic study, since the diversity of rooms and their characteristics differed greatly between them.

The installation consists of an optimized sound system for fifteen massage rooms, three multiple rooms, water areas, hotel gym and auditorium, with capacity for 1.200 personas.

The team chosen for the center Wellness y Fitness It consists of five sets Electro-Voice Evid-C44, taking into account the handicaps of each of the rooms (space, reverberation, humidity and salinity of the environment).

The Evid-C44 solution offers 220 W of power and consists of a subwoofer module (modelo Evid-40C) and four satellites (Evid-C2.1).

The installed system can work in stereo or mono in high impedance applications (70/100V using an included transformer), and low impedance 8 stereo ohms and 4 ohms mono. Two PA-2250T power stages are used as the amplification system., also from Electro Voice.

The hotel auditorium has been treated as a different project and has been the last area to be executed. It has an Electro Voice EVA installation line array system (Expandable vertical array) with six boxes, distributed in groups of three on each side of the stage, with four units of the EVA model 126 and two EVA 1220 with AM dimmer, and all amplified with Dynacord L3600
