Orange is committed to open and collaborative rooms with Kramer technology
This manufacturer's VIA wireless solutions have been deployed in more than two hundred rooms at the telecommunications operator's corporate headquarters and continue to expand in other offices in Spain..
The telecommunications multinational Orange, provider of mobile and landline telephone services, Internet and television, is developing a new cultural environment, digital and human, including a flexible office model with more open and versatile spaces to encourage transversal work and collaboration between teams.
Spain is the second market of the Orange Group (in terms of income), with nearly twenty million clients who enjoy its services, that began this transformation process in the year 2016 at its headquarters, located in the Madrid town of Pozuelo de Alarcón, in the La Finca Business Park.
Initially, The organization had traditional meeting rooms in its corporate building, designed for more static presentations and meetings. This inflexible concept did not cover the need to give way to new digital formats, nor did it give the possibility of creating open and dynamic collaboration and presentation environments.
To materialize this change in concept, it was necessary to find the ideal technological solution that would allow participatory work., open and flexible, in which professionals could hold their meetings and presentations 'anytime, anywhere', without the need for cables and collaboratively.
Those responsible for Orange contacted several system integrators to verify which solutions responded to this need to test them., and one of them was VIA Go de Kramer Electronics.
The selected solutions were tested for a month, whose final result was Kramer's technological proposal, which was the one that did not present any ruling and complied with the demanded requirements.
For Luis Gutiérrez Pérez, communications manager at Orange “the incorporation of these Kramer solutions into our corporate environment has facilitated user interaction with audiovisual media from any point in the room.”, no need for cable, adapter or remote control to share content in high audio and video quality”.
After more than four years since its implementation in more than two hundred rooms of the Spanish subsidiary, Kramer's VIA solution is a frequent tool in the daily life of Orange employees to carry out their functions in a dynamic and collaborative work environment, and that is why the multinational is expanding its implementation in the different headquarters it has in different parts of Spain..
“This installation has been another example of technological innovation, where Kramer has proven that his product is robust, reliable and intuitive and is the best choice for wireless presentation -adds Gutiérrez-. Technology is playing a very important role in times of pandemic, and VIA helps us maintain distance between people, facilitating policy no touch”.
For your part, Pedro Ballesteros, country manager Spain & Portugal by Kramer Electronics, He adds that “it is very important to have the trust of Orange and actively participate in the digital evolution that is transforming the work environment of your company.”. We believe that offering solutions that fit all the needs of our clients is an unavoidable step to evolve., and that is why we provide personalized solutions in all our business areas, and more in these moments that we live”.
