The International African American Museum will install new Sony Crystal Led screens

With an area of ​​10×2 meters and located in the Atlantic Worlds gallery, It is the first public facility in the US. that will equip this new display system from the manufacturer.

Currently closed due to the pandemic, the International African American Museum (IAM – International African American Museum), located at Gadsden's Wharf in Charleston (South Carolina – USA) has become the public center in the country, pioneer in installing the new Crystal Led screen of Sony.

Precisely this public facility recently announced the donation of 1,7 millions of dollars 'in kind' that Sony's North American subsidiary has made, thanks to the so-called Social Justice Fund that this manufacturer has in the country, so its technology will be used to create exhibits and interactive experiences throughout the museum, which will open its doors in January 2022.

The centerpiece of the museum is the so-called Atlantic Worlds gallery, which will be the one that equips the manufacturer's latest Crystal Led screen (more details in Digital AV), with dimensions of 10 meters wide and 2 high.

Sony technologies that will help create audiovisual experiences at the museum include the aforementioned Crystal Led screen, which will offer a resolution of 7,680×1.620p, to which the manufacturer's Bravia professional screens will be added, with a wide variety of sizes ( 55, 65 75 y 85 inches), along with 4K HDR models.

In the projection environment, The museum will have 4K SXRD laser equipment -Sony VPL-GTZ380 model-, with a luminosity of 10.000 lumens, together with laser systems with WUXGA 3LCD resolution -model VPL-FHZ131L/W-, of 13.000 lumens. To this will be added a series of wireless and studio-quality microphones.
