Ditec designs the conference and translation system for the Itínere board room

The new system allows face-to-face meetings to be held through videoconference and VoIP calls, in addition to having two virtual rooms, with simultaneous translation, to continue the meeting.

Itiner Groupe is one of the main Spanish infrastructure managers. The company has completed the technological renovation project of the audiovisual system in the board room of its headquarters in Madrid, that you have designed Ditec Communications.

This audiovisual update required improvement in the quality of the conference and interpretation system, as well as the expansion of its functionalities, for which after a thorough analysis of the equipment, Ditec made a series of changes.

Specifically, central conference unit has been replaced, since the existing one was obsolete, and incorporated an audio processor to make calls with the VoIP protocol, in addition to changing the control one for one of Extron to manage the new audiovisual system.

Once the installation and commissioning project has been executed, The system allows for face-to-face meetings, via video conference with Microsoft Teams and VoIP calls.

Besides, with the reconfiguration of the simultaneous translation system Bosch DCN and the new TesiraForté VT audio processor from Biamp meeting participants can choose which language they want to follow the meeting in, connecting to the virtual room of the selected language.

Each of these virtual rooms allows you to follow the meetings with live translation in two languages, in the case of the Itínere project in Spanish and English, also facilitate the intervention of the participants in their language, which will also be translated.

The result is an intuitively manageable system, with a touch panel through which the different video and audio signals in the room can be switched, in addition to making and receiving VoIP calls and entering different operating modes of the equipment.
