ITEC db audio y Brompton“Group of&b recognized the importance of promoting increasingly immersive projects -explains Andy Hook, director of technological strategy of this company-. The desire to live these experiences and the impact that augmented reality will have, spatial computing and custom actions, “They involve a general increase in the scale of the technology necessary to attract the public.”.

Precisely ITEC if there is designed to understand these complex technologies and know their potential from an early stage of the process, as well as its integration into different applications and the appropriate budget for each project.

As Hook points out, “ITEC is a space for all interested parties to come and play with a series of technologies, understand why they spend money on them and the role they play in a project. It is also so that manufacturers can collaborate, “improve technology and find new and fun things to do with it”.

A total of four Brompton SX40 Tesseras, an S8 and seven XD data distribution units power most of the LED screens installed in this technological space.

“We chose Brompton technology not only because of the fantastic relationship we have had with the company over the years - continues Hook -, but for his scalability, flexibility and the quality of the final result what we get with their products”. Hook continues.

As this person points out, “we know that, Whatever a client wants to do, we can do it with the tools that Brompton provides us.. It also has to do with the fact that this company is constantly developing new features for your processors, that we can incorporate into the space without having to change the hardware”.

ITEC also includes a SMPTE infrastructure 2110, a video over IP protocol that will be compatible with upcoming products from Gene processing 3 from Brompton and with panels that use the company's existing receiving cards.

“The inclusion of SMPTE 2110 "It's very interesting," Hook emphasizes.. It gives us flexibility and allows us to help people understand the protocol in a space that is more of a multi-purpose audiovisual facility than a broadcast studio.. We will also be able to demonstrate future protocols, as IPMX”.

Another argument that Hook adds is that “with the increasing blurring of the boundaries between IT and AV, and the use of broadcast technology in corporate and educational spaces, explaining the flexibility of what appears to be a complex technology is important for the sector”.

It is also a space that the community can use for training sessions, meet up, celebrate events and test these technologies. “When we are children we dream and experience. “This is how our mind expands,” says Hook.. As adults, we can't do that anymore, but ITEC is our place to do it. People can plug into all that connectivity or even bring their own toys and try something no one has done before.. It is a place to dream for today's artists and technicians and for the next generation.".

As pointed out Rob Fowler, Brompton Business Development Director, “being part of ITEC means that we continue to plant our flag in the future. May our technology be chosen to help industry visionaries create spectacular experiences, and that will encourage the next generation to join us, It is extremely rewarding.”.
