With a balance of the past year described as 'challenging', the ProAV business division & UCC of Ingram Micro has presented its strategy for 2021 "knowing that we must continue to fight this pandemic and it will take us much more effort and time than initially expected", explained Alex Rincon, ProAV & UCC business manager, during a video conference with your team.

specifically, the work of this business division during the past year has been praised by this manager for "his imagination, tenacity, courage and unwavering commitment. All this effort has been with the sole objective of offering our customers the best service and quality for the development of the business jointly".

In the strategy of this division for the present 2021 "There is reason for optimism about a return to the new normal that we are so much waiting for, and we continue to work with emphasis on how we can continue to offer more value to our customers and supplier partners", underlines Rincon.

For this reason, organizational changes have been made within the division and, with effect from the past 1 January, Jose María Barranco is the new commercial manager of ProAV & Ucc.

From his new responsibility, Barranco explains that "we must continue to define an increasingly demanding strategy, since we are in living markets and in constant change. The pandemic has caused both the ProAV and UCC areas to have new needs and we believe we are providing what is most demanded at the moment: Solutions, specialization, commitment and maximum support to our partners".

Another of the strategic novelties is the launch of the Led business area within the ProAV division. "Internally we were clear, both with the team and with our suppliers, take this step to support our channel with this range of products that until now we did not distribute", explains Rincon.

In this sense and with effect from the past 1 February, the division has added Rubén Sánchez to its team to carry out this work. This manager brings more than fifteen years of experience in the market, "with a background of more than five in the development of the Led business -points out Rincón-. Your knowledge, both the market and the display business, they will be fundamental to the success of the development of this business area".

As Rubén Sánchez has pointed out, "The objective of the new comprehensive strategy of Ingram Micro is based on covering and giving maximum support to our partners already specialized in Led at the different levels that they demand, as well as so that clients not specialized in this segment can approach any project with guarantees of success".

additionally, this business division has strengthened the commercial team in the Madrid area with the incorporation of Ainhoa Hurtado, "who will help us develop the business of both UCC and ProAV and complement the current commercial team we have in the division at a national level".

In hurtado's words: "My goal is to join to transmit all this knowledge and experience to ingram's distribution channel, helping them in a consultative way to create technological solutions adapted to the needs and capabilities of our customers".
