Arts Center Immanuelskirche restarts its activity with sound from RCF Systems

Located in the new church building of Immanuelskirche en Wuppertal (Germany), this arts center once again offers its versatile program after installing a speaker system RCF Systems, combined with moving components.

The Immanuel Arts Center (Arts Centre Immanuelskirche), in the German city of Wuppertal, has returned to its activity with a versatile and innovative program that also includes experimental events. The scenic design of this center, located in the new Immanuelskirche church building, It is as varied as its proposal.

To respond to all event possibilities, The center's management has renewed the audio with speaker systems from the Italian manufacturer RCF Systems, according to the project of the German integrator Safe in Sound, company founded by Guido Ogrzella.

With three scenarios, side galleries and the apse, The center offers various possibilities for organizing events for chamber concerts, jazz evenings, weddings or conferences. For this reason, Guido Ogrzewalla opted for a flexible combination of permanently installed components and mobile stage sound systems from RCF.

Janine Ballein, general director of Arts Center Immanuelskirche, explains that “When modernizing our audio system it was crucial that we could flexibly cover rare events and stage situations, and the combination of fixed and mobile speakers also greatly reduces the configuration”.

Four modules have been installed on the walls RCF VSA 2050 and eight of the model VSA 1250 (blank). Added to this are active beam steering column speakers, equipped with twenty or twelve 3.5” speakers, depending on the version. A design that adapts perfectly to the architecture and nave of the church.

Four pieces of equipment have been selected as mobile stage sound units. SUB 905-AS II in cardioid mode and six modules TT052-A by RCF, located at the bottom of the stage. Should special stage monitors be required, units are also available. RCF HD 10-A additional, combined with components from Safe in Sound stock.
