Crystal Display Systems and General Touch

The agreement between the screen specialist Crystal Display Systems (CDS) to distribute the touch and curved monitors of General Touch will start in the United Kingdom and will be extended to other countries in Europe.

Thanks to the knowledge of the digital display market, technical support and facilities Crystal Display Systems (CDS) will focus on the commercialization of touch screen monitor ranges, curved and edge-lit Halo Led from the Chinese manufacturer General Touch.

The agreement also includes the availability of samples, full storage and after-sales support directly from CDS headquarters in Rochester (United Kingdom).

As you pointed out Mike Leary, of General Touch, “with many years of knowledge, focus and experience in the field of touch screen solutions, I am confident that CDS will help us generate a strong presence in the market. Together we offer a very diverse and competitive range of touch screen monitors in many markets”.

For the CEO of CDS, Chris Bartram, it is about “a great opportunity for both companies. General Touch has been a ‘giant’ asleep with excellent high quality products, including elements for other brands and reference manufacturers at a lower cost. We are excited to work directly with them to grow their market share in the UK and other territories.”.

CDS engineers have evaluated the range of touchscreen monitors and, as Bartram states, “are excellent and reliable products that will now have a high quality after-sales service, with a wide range that offers customers many options”.
