Moment Factory creates an immersive nighttime experience for Banff Gondola

The artistic concept behind Nightrise, the immersive experience of Banff Gondola, is based on Lumina Moment Factory, that is inspired by the connection with nature, highlighting the wonders of the Rockies.

On the mountain of Sulphur, in it Banff National Park, located in the Rocky Mountains, Moment Factory, in collaboration with Pursuit y Stock of Nacadda Nation, has created an immersive nighttime experience for the Banff Gondola.

Along with Rocky Mountain-inspired cuisine and drinks served at summit restaurants, the experience Nightrise offers a new perspective of the iconic mountain range.

It begins when guests enter the gondola and embark on a multi-sensory journey. at the top, They can stroll through the multi-level summit building and go out to the observation platforms to rediscover the magic that only emerges after sunset..

Inspired by natural phenomena such as cosmic rays and alpine glow, multimedia effects, video projections and original soundscapes transform the site into a place for exploration and contemplation.

The artistic concept behind Nightrise is based on the night walking series Lumina de Moment Factory, which is inspired by the connection with nature and created to enhance the wonders of each natural site.

Lumina is made up of a series of immersive outdoor experiences. Each Night Walk is a luminous journey that reveals the beauty of a natural place. They use an integrated multimedia system to immerse visitors of all ages in an imaginative world and provoke emotions. The natural landscapes are enhanced through an artistic multimedia transformation that establishes a second identity of the place, helping to maximize potential by extending economic activity beyond the sunset.

The Nightrise experience is derived from a combination of the storytelling-driven approach of the Lumina Enchanted Night Walk series and the installation-driven approach of the outdoor digital art exhibitions, como North Forest Lights o Light Cycles.
