DAS Audio powers the sound system of the renovated club The Cheetah

The E11Even Sound and Vantec speakers from DAS Audio bring a vibrant sound to The Cheetah, the most famous club in the southeastern United States.

Located in bustling downtown Atlanta and surrounded by skyscrapers, The Cheetah is a famous club, known for his dancers CheetahGirls, which has carried out an extensive reform that has covered, among other systems, lighting and visual elements, in addition to the installation of a new sound reinforcement system much more powerful.

For the latter, the speakers have been installed E11Even Sound and Vantec manufacturer's DAS Audio, installed by the specialist of integral audiovisual and lighting solutions iDesign, based in Miami (Florida).

Working in collaboration with John Fiorito, National Sales Manager for Nightclubs and Hospitality, Michael Meacham, idesign owner and lighting and video designer, devised a spectacular configuration for the sound reinforcement part of the project, in which I know that it included video-cubes, strobe lights, lasers and video displays, in addition to the DAS E11Even Sound and Vantec speakers.

"The Cheetah's main hall and DJ booth is the epicenter of all activity," Meacham explains.. These areas use live music and that played by the DJ, so we installed a combination of four three-way passive speakers E11Even Sound ES-112. These boxes are complemented by passive subwoofer speakers E11Even Sound ES-215, and to top off the configuration we placed four stackable subwoofer speakers".

The DJ booth now has a combination of four line array self-amplified constant curvature Vantec-20A that serve as monitors, and which are accompanied by two self-powered subwoofer speakers Vantec-18A.

The task of distributing the music throughout the restaurant area is performed with a total of eight passive two-way speakers DAS E11Even Sound ES-26. The different speaker systems installed have a total of fourteen amplifiers DAS Audio EP Series Class D, working in combination with four digital signal processors DAS IO48.

For Meacham, "The DAS E11Even Sound speakers are a new product designed specifically for venues like The Cheetah.; capable of emitting very high sound levels with astonishing clarity. The speakers are custom-made and offer multiple coverages to ensure there are no dead spots left and excellent coverage throughout the venue.".
