The Econocom Group reinforces its management leadership

Jean-Louis Bouchard, founder of Econocom Group, will continue to serve as president, while Laurent Roudil assumes the position of director and CEO, and Ángel Benguigui has been appointed executive managing director.

The Econocom Group has gone through a period of stabilization and consolidation that has helped it lay the foundations for the development of its traditional business lines and innovative services.. A stage that has been reinforced by a change in governance that has led to the appointment of Laurent Roudil director and CEO, already Angel Benguigui executive general director (Executive Managing Director).

Jean-Louis Bouchard, founder of the Group, will continue to perform his role as president and will continue to be involved in strategic projects of M&A and in corporate communication.

Laurent Roudil is managing director of the Econocom Group since 2020. A digital transformation professional with more than 25 years of experience in France and internationally.

In the year 2000, He joined Capgemini France as Sales Director of Public Services, before assuming the position of executive director of Energy, Public Services and Industry and, later, sales director for France. In 2012, He was appointed general manager of Business Development and Transformation of the BT Group in France.

He joined the Econocom Group in 2015 as managing director of Strategic Accounts. Three years later, was appointed managing director of Services in a business unit formed by 5.000 dedicated application employees, IT outsourcing and maintenance, where he led a radical transformation, rationalizing the business portfolio and tripling profitability.

For your part, Ángel Benguigui is managing director of the Econocom Group since 2020. He has worked in international environments for 35 years, especially in finance and digital technology. Tras start your route in Crédit Lyonnais and Crédit Agricole, joined the Econocom Group in 2006 as country manager for Spain. In this branch, developed the financing business and the distribution and digital services businesses, especially by applying a successful procurement policy.

Thanks to these developments, Econocom Spain is now recognized as a digital integrator with high added value in the country. In 2019, after several years on the Executive Committee of the Econocom Group, was appointed chief financial officer.
