Hueman Homebody Epson

Multidisciplinary artist Allison 'Hueman' Torneros has used the projectors of Epson for 'Homebody', your first immersive art experience, that you have shown in Ciel Creative Space in Berkeley (California – USA).

With an extension of more 1.800 m2, the immersive experience Homebody of the artist Allison Hueman Turners explore themes of identity through large portraits, sculptures and murals created with projection mapping and augmented reality.

Torneros collaborated with the projection designer Craig Winslow to create this 360º digital work that has been exposed to the past 20 February in Ciel Creative Space in Berkeley (California), and for which projectors have been used Epson LightScene and Pro Series in three facilities.

As explained by the artist in a statement, "The last two years have affected the way people see themselves and others., and the collective experience in isolation is something worth reflecting on. With this exhibition I wanted to explore identity in the context of an unprecedented moment in time., at the intersection of art and technology".

Epson's laser projection technology "has allowed me to create an immersive installation, immersing visitors in a colorful mix of the abstract and the figurative, providing a 360º experience that plays with transparency issues, light, color and space", adds Turners.

Epson LightScene EV-110 laser projector provides 2.200 Lumens, combining lighting and projection in a discreet format to be integrated into galleries, Museums, exhibitions or corporate events. For its part, the Pro L1200U model, designed for rental and installation environment, Provides 7.000 Lumens of power and WUXGA resolution with 4K technology and a flexible horizontal and vertical location for a 360º projection, as in the case of this exhibition.
